Your household

Without an account, your preferences, plans and shopping progress stay in this browser’s local storage. They can disappear if you clear browser data. With an account, a private household copy is also stored in Supabase and access is restricted to your account. Email and authentication details are managed by Supabase. We do not collect payment details during this free beta.

Signing out leaves your account’s device cache in this browser so unsaved changes can be recovered when you sign back in. Use a private browser on a shared device, or clear browser data after signing out. Reset household in your account clears the household contents, including the cloud copy; it does not delete the account.

Optional beta measurement

If you opt in, we store an anonymous random browser identifier and counts of actions such as opening the planner, generating a week, opening a shopping list and signing in. Events contain no email, account ID, dietary preferences, food exclusions, recipe IDs, URL or free text. An identifier is used to count repeat visitors; these are anonymous browser counts, not counts of people.

Switching this off stops future events and removes the identifier from this browser. Past anonymous events remain until the 90-day retention limit. Aggregated counts help us understand which parts of the beta are useful.

Services that run the beta

Cloudflare hosts the site; Supabase provides accounts and the database. These services may process technical connection information needed to operate and protect the app. We use Google Fonts for typography. Opening a publisher’s recipe takes you to that publisher’s site and privacy policy.
