- Beef mince1 lb
- Garlic cloves2
- Basil2 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes½ tsp
- Worcestershire sauce2 tbsp
- Milk¼ cup
- Parmesan½ cup
- Plain Bread Crumbs⅔ cup
Method
- 1
At this stage, preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- 2
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 2 cloves garlic, 2 teaspoons dried basil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/3 cup milk, 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese,; then 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs.
- 3
At this stage, mix gently until ingredients are evenly distributed. Do not overmix, as this can make the meatballs dense.
- 4
At this stage, shape mixture into 1 to 1½-inch balls, keeping them uniform in size for even cooking. Arrange meatballs evenly in the prepared pan, leaving a little space between each.
- 5
Bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Serve hot.
